Alex Alcala is President and Chief Executive Officer of Crane Company, a leading supplier of highly engineered components for demanding, missioncritical applications serving the aerospace, defense, space, and process industry end markets. He was appointed President and CEO on April 27, 2026, and was elected to Crane’s Board of Directors in April 2026.

Mr. Alcala joined Crane Company in 2013 and has been a member of the company’s leadership team throughout his tenure. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, a role he assumed in December 2024.

Since joining Crane, Mr. Alcala has held a series of leadership roles with increasing responsibility. He joined the company in 2013 as President of Crane Pumps & Systems and was promoted in 2014 to President of Crane ChemPharma & Energy. In March 2020, he was appointed Senior Vice President, overseeing Crane’s Process Flow Technologies segment as well as the Regional Presidents for China, India, and the Middle East & Africa. In February 2023, Mr. Alcala was promoted to Executive Vice President and assumed segment leadership responsibility for all of Crane’s businesses, including Aerospace & Electronics, Engineered Materials, Process Flow Technologies, and the company’s regional operations. He was named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in December 2024.

Prior to joining Crane, Mr. Alcala held a variety of operations and strategic marketing leadership roles at Eaton Corporation.
Mr. Alcala holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
