Career Advice from Nadia: “Our company resolution, written by our founder, R.T. Crane, is very special. I am happy to work for a company with deep rooted values in trust, honesty and fairness.”

“What attracted me most to Crane was knowing that I would be working with an outstanding team of HR professionals, as well as the level of exposure I would get to kick-start my career in Human Resources.”

Nadia started working at Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Burbank, CA as an intern while completing her graduate degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  During Nadia’s time as an intern she was exposed to different parts of HR, from hiring to compensation and auditing. The two most exciting projects she worked on as an intern were building an internship program, and leading the development of an intern video which was used to attract new interns to Crane.

After completing her degree, Nadia returned to Crane Aerospace & Electronics as a Human Resources Generalist.  Her next role at Crane was as an HR Business Partner (HRBP).  As an HRBP, Nadia works with her client groups’ managers to develop their team.  Nadia’s role includes tracking KPI metrics, Intellectual Capital development, team and individual development, and employee relations, among other responsibilities.  Four years later, Nadia continues to grow as an HR professional.
