Bradley L. Ellis
Brad Ellis joined Crane Co. in 1997 as Vice President Operational Excellence and Chief Information Officer, effecting change throughout the organization through a continuous improvement culture, lean manufacturing, six sigma problem solving, strategic sourcing, and establishing Crane’s China Sourcing team. In 2003, he was promoted to Group President of Crane Merchandising Systems covering the Merchandising and Payment businesses. He successfully architected the Crane Payment Innovations business with $24M Sales and losing $6M OP to become one of Crane’s growth platforms. From 2009 to 2011, Brad was asked to take on additional Crane Co. responsibilities as Vice President of Crane Business System. From 2013 to 2015, Brad was focused on turning around the Merchandising Systems business through innovative new products and creating an online recurring business model. Brad led, as Chairman, the National Automatic Merchandising Association for two years while the organization transitioned to a new CEO. For 2015, Brad was appointed Senior Vice President, Crane Co., and oversaw the business units of Payment Innovations, Merchandising System and Engineered Materials. In 2016, Brad was appointed Senior Vice President overseeing Crane Co.’s Fluid Handling businesses. In 2019, Brad assumed additional responsibility for the Engineered Materials business as well as the Regional Presidents of China, India and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Crane, Brad was employed by Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting Group. He was responsible for new client development, operations and project management for the Pacific Northwest’s practice, helping manufacturing companies through targeted process improvement and system implementations to enhance profitability and efficiency. Crane’s Aerospace business was a client.
