Leanne’s career stated as CBS Manager in March 2010 following the acquisition of Money Controls by Crane. Her previous roles within continuous improvement functions and the challenge of becoming part of a large global organization appealed to her and she knew within the company she would be able to develop her skills and grow.
Following 18 months as CBS Manager, Leanne moved to a Value Stream Manager role. This gave her first-hand experience of line leadership and managing her own metrics within SQDC. She also developed her skills for daily coaching and her strong CBS skills helped her to deliver productivity while maintaining on track performance metrics. Within this role, she was also responsible for the end of life on two Manchester products as CPS rationalized product footprint, moving customers to the current NRI validators. She was also responsible for transition of CX25 recycler into Manchester.
In 2014, Leanne was promoted to Operations Manager and became responsible for site operations. In 2015, she was given the Site Leader/Operations Director title. Leanne thoroughly enjoys her job, especially since no two days are ever the same. Each day brings opportunities to make improvements for the better that make life easier for associates and have a positive impact on our customers. As the site grows and strengthens, with the recent additions of MEI and more recently Microtronics to the portfolio, Leanne’s skills will continue to be challenged as a leader.
