The Engineered Materials segment is made up primarily of Crane Composites, the world’s leading provider of fiberglass reinforced plastic (“FRP”) composite materials. The segment also includes Polyflon, a producer of specialty laminates and custom products for telecommunications and microwave markets.

 

CRANE COMPOSITES

Crane Composites has technical expertise in materials and processes and understanding of customer needs that enables it to provide solutions for the recreational vehicle, truck trailer and building and construction markets. Its offerings, which include both high gloss and conventional FRP products, replace traditional metals and woods with materials offering superior performance characteristics.

POLYFLON

Polyflon designs and manufactures microwave laminates, high-voltage RF capacitors and other specialty components for communications, medical imaging, microwave and radar applications. Polyflon’s proprietary plating process, state-of-the-art lamination and circuit fabrication facilities, and design expertise make it singularly qualified to meet demanding requirements in unique customer applications.
